As the Director of Leasing, Lori Suba leads the leasing department and manages PBA Group’s diverse lease portfolio of industrial, office, retail and land holdings. Lori began her career in commercial real estate in Calgary in early 2003 and brings considerable leasing expertise to PBA Group of Companies. Her personable, thoughtful, straight-forward approach strives for win-win solutions at every opportunity.
Prior to joining PBA Group, Lori served as Vice President of Office Leasing at CBRE Limited. Over her career, she has leased millions of square feet in Calgary’s downtown core. Lori has extensive experience developing and managing leasing strategies, negotiating complex transactions, and building strong tenant relationships. She has spoken as an industry expert at NAIOP events, University of Calgary real estate classes, and as a panelist at the Calgary Real Estate Leasing Forum. In 2019, Lori was President and chaired the Board of CREW Calgary, a non-profit real estate organization committed to supporting the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry. She enjoys serving as a mentor and advocate for individuals looking to advance their commercial real estate careers.
Lori comes from a farming family and spent a lot of time as a child riding horses and ski- dooing on the family farm near Rosebud, Alberta. Her grandfather ran the bakery in Delia, Alberta in the 1930’s and she inherited his love of baking – although with two growing boys at home, her treats rarely make it into the PBA Group office! Her boys both play competitive baseball, and most of her spare time is spent with her husband, driving to and cheering on their boys at baseball practices, games and tournaments across western Canada.
Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Calgary and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA with a Real Estate Leadership specialty through the University of Fredericton.
