PBA is thrilled to announce the promotion of James Scott to Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. James has been a vital team member with PBA for over 8 years. His mentorship, stewardship and passion for high-quality real estate developments have been an immense contribution to our team’s continued success.
James brings over 30 years of wide-ranging experience in the development industry managing and leading complex projects, driven by a real passion for delivering high-quality projects with an eye toward city and community building. Over the past eight years at PBA, James has applied valuable experience in urban planning, design and city building, project management, government and regulatory body relations, planning approvals, community engagement and executive management in developing strategy, growth and people development.
Growing from this solid foundation, James’ new role expands executive leadership functions, including ESG framework development, oversight of key corporate functions, people and team development, and strategic input to real estate investment, design and development processes as part of our senior leadership team.
James actively supports and promotes PBA’s core values through ongoing engagement and participation in the community. A past volunteer with two terms on the Calgary Planning Commission, James is a new member of the Calgary Subdivision and Development Appeal Board.
